“For more than two decades, Coors Light has been a proud sponsor of the Center on Colfax and the Pride Parade and Denver PrideFest,” said Molson Coors spokesperson Michael Nordman. “Our Pride runs mile high so we are excited to support the Center’s vital programs and services that positively impact the LGBTQ+ community.”

Thanks to support from companies such as Molson Coors, Denver PrideFest has become the largest celebration of LGBTQ pride in the Rocky Mountain region. With more than 250 contingents, the 2022 Coors Light Denver Pride Parade is the largest in its history.

“Coors Light has been a sponsor of The Center and Denver PrideFest for decades,” says Rex Fuller, CEO of The Center on Colfax. “The work we have been able to do at The Center over the last four decades would not be possible without this support and we are grateful for it.”

Beyond supporting Denver PrideFest, Molson Coors has a distinguished history of supporting LGBTQ+ communities across the country, with significant support for organizations such as Human Rights Campaign (HRC), Matthew Shepard Foundation, National Amateur Gay Athletics Association of America, National LGBTChamber of Commerce, LGBTQ Victory Institute, Out & Equal, Colorado LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce, and One Colorado.

In addition to these partners, Molson Coors works with local LGBTQ+ organizations in key communities through its Tap Into Change program. Annually, the summer program donates more than $100,000 to these organizations with a consistent growth in impact each year. Events take place in each city to help raise additional funds, awareness, and support for the missions of these local organizations. Over the past 11 years, Tap Into Change has raised nearly $700,000for local LGBTQ and HIV/AIDS nonprofits.

Vizzy, Molson Coors’ hard seltzer made with antioxidant Vitamin C, has a three-year, $1 million partnership with the Human Rights Campaign, the nation’s largest LGBTQ+ civil rights organization. This represented a first-of-its-kind partnership between HRC and a hard seltzer brand with the donation supporting HRC’s mission to achieve full equality for LGBTQ+ people.

For 19 years in a row, Molson Coors has proudly earned a perfect 100 score on the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index, which measure companies’ internal LGBTQ+ policies and external practices. Its ERG, known as LAGER (LGBTQ and Allies Group Employees Resources), provides support to LGBTQ+ employees and allies to develop a safe and inclusive workplace in which all employees are treated equally. Chapters exist at its corporate offices and breweries in Chicago, Golden, Milwaukee, and Shenandoah. Each group organizes community events, volunteer programs, and promotes workplace diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, which helps Molson Coors earn the distinction of one of HRC’s “Best Places to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality.”
